The Covid-19 continues to play tricks on the XV of France. The hooker of La Rochelle, Pierre Bourgarit, must also forfeit the gathering of the XV of France in order to prepare for the Six Nations Tournament, announced Monday January 24, the French Rugby Federation.

The 24-year-old Rochelais (five caps) will be replaced by Racing 92 player Teddy Baubigny (22, one cap).

In total, eleven Blues are absent, starting with the captain of Stade Toulouse, Antoine Dupont, also positive, as are his teammates Romain Ntamack, Cyril Baille or Anthony Jelonch. Cameron Woki (UBB), Anthony Bouthier (Montpellier) and Uini Atonio (La Rochelle) are injured.

The XV of France has been gathered since Sunday in the south of France for a preparation course for the Six Nations Tournament (February 5-March 19). Fabien Galthié’s players will face Italy on February 6 at the Stade de France for their first match of the competition.
