Terrines for the summer

It is a must for aperitifs in summer, the board to share and/or dinner is a must. Stéphane Nuellas, the general manager of the traditional charcuterie “Domaine Picard” is our guest. On the menu: A bit of history, some recipes and advice, and favourites.

The Picard Estate

Since 1949, Domaine Picard has continued to grow while maintaining its know-how. In the beginning: Lucette and Lucien Thuillier created a small country charcuterie in Talmas in 1949. In 1960, the name changed, the charcuterie became “Le domaine Picard”. In 1996, the workshops moved to Villers-Bocage. Until 2021, opening of their new shop in Villers-Bocage, the “Domaine Picard” has continued to grow by campaigning for better food and French agriculture.
