terrifying story in “C to you”!

In January 2022, Gaspard Ulliel lost his life following a skiing accident. He was then accompanied by Gaëlle Pietri and their only son, Orso. Since then the pain remains intact. In order to heal this gaping hole, the ex-model released a book as a testament called “Time to Say Goodbye” this Wednesday, April 26, 2023. “I started writing just after Gaspard’s death, notes taken in amazement and anger, which, a few months later, I wanted to transform into a letter to Gaspard and our son, Orso” she explained during an interview with SHE.

Separated since 2020, the young parents had remained on good terms for the good of their son. It was partly for Orso that she wrote this book, as she explained to the JDD : “By immersing himself in this book when he is older, he will find his father there, the words will allow him to fix an image, he who lost him too soon”. On the occasion of D-Day, Gaëlle Pietri was the guest of Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine. The host of “C to you” took the opportunity to evoke a sentence mentioned in his open letter: “The dead no longer have a private life Gaspard. That’s one of the things I learned”. From there, she evoked the time when a young woman took the liberty of asking her to “to move” from in front of the late actor’s grave.

Terrifying story by Gaëlle Pietri on the set of “C à Vous”

But these kinds of scenes are far from unique. “It still happens regularly, it happened again last week at Père Lachaise with my son. We still had little anecdotes like that”, said Gaëlle Pietri. The motive of these individuals? “Making pictures of them with the grave”.

The ex-girlfriend of Gaspard Ulliel is not the only one to suffer from these disrespectful behaviors since even her mother found herself facing a rather aggressive admirer. “The lady was like, ‘But I’m her biggest fan, who are you to clean her grave?'”revealed Orso’s mother.

Gaëlle Pietri came to a sad conclusion: “The mourning of a personality is a double penalty. I tried to write in my book. That is to say that we say that in the face of death we need depopulation and we does not have the right to this depopulation when it comes to a known personality”. Reactions difficult to manage when these mix with grief and mourning.
