The vast operation of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and the Terrebonne police took place Tuesday afternoon in a residential area of ​​this northern crown municipality.

The Press was able to confirm that a suspect, whose age is still unknown, was apprehended inside the residence.

The man was actively sought across the country for reasons that have not been publicly disclosed. According to our sources, he has a criminal history with firearms.

A woman was also on the spot and was arrested by the police after the operation. The connection between these two individuals is unknown at this time.
