A 19-year-old woman faces three counts, including attempted murder, against an employee of an elementary school in Terrebonne, for whom she had a fixation.

The Terrebonne, Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines and Bois-des-Filion intermunicipal police department received a call on Monday, October 24 around 10 a.m. concerning a 19-year-old young woman, Mégan Petitclerc, who was hanging around inside of Jean-De La Fontaine primary school with a knife.
According to initial information, Mégan Petitclerc had a “fixation on a school employee and wanted to attack her,” the authorities said in a statement.
The young woman was reportedly arrested by a member of the school staff, who immediately asked her to leave the premises. It was outside that the defendant became aggressive, while she punctured the tires of certain vehicles parked around the school, underlines the Intermunicipal Police Service.
Officers quickly located the young woman who was arrested near the school. Mégan Petitclerc appeared on October 25 at the Laval courthouse for attempted murder, possession of a weapon and mischief.
Police say no one was injured in the incident.
