Tensions between Ukraine and Russia: Ukrainians are on the alert

Several thousand people were gathered in the center of Kiev (Ukraine) to say that they are ready to resist, Saturday February 12. Ukrainians take the threat of Russian invasion seriously. “We don’t want to return to the era of the Soviet Union, nor to a regime like in Belarus, we want Europe”says a Ukrainian protester. Ukrainians are aware of the military power of the Russian army and some still hope for a peaceful outcome.
