Like every evening, 11 p.m. takes a tour of the news broadcast by European television channels. It’s Eurozapping on Tuesday April 5th.

Barely reappointed as Prime Minister, Viktor Orban is once again in conflict with the European Union. After its victory in the Hungarian legislative elections, Brussels indeed recalled that Budapest is subject to the mechanism of “conditionality” European support for the rule of law. If Hungary refused to apply certain European rules, this aid could be cut. A decision interpreted by the Magyar government as a sanction against the voters of Viktor Orban.

In Belgium as in France, the shelves of several Kinder products are emptied to prevent the risk of salmonella contamination. A large part of these chocolates is produced in a Belgian factory of the Ferrero group. The local health authorities assure that they will control the factory and “identify what could have been the problem”. The contamination occurs 15 days from Easter, one of the most important appointments for the manufacturer.

Switzerland is experiencing a boom in the birth rate. The end of confinement seems to have restored optimism to young couples, and after a 2020 vintage at half mast demographically, the country recorded nearly 90,000 births. A level that had not been reached since 1972.
