tensions around humanitarian convoys

In the middle of a checkpoint on the border between the West Bank and Israel, a few dozen Israeli activists came to protect truck drivers transporting humanitarian aid intended for Gaza. To block the trucks, Israeli settlers blockade with their bodies. Some are known for acts of violence and are dismissed by the police. Two visions of Israel face each other.

Radical teenagers are supported by a majority of the Israeli population. In a society still deeply marked by October 7, the risk of famine in Gaza hardly mobilizes people. Peace activists are therefore an exception. The trucks travel to the south of the Gaza Strip, where they will then be inspected by the Israeli army before finally reaching the Palestinian population.
