tension in the air between Nikos Aliagas and Isabelle Ithurburu? Why is the host not going to pass the baton to him in “50′ Inside”?

After 16 years of good and loyal service, it’s time for him to go. In effect, Nikos Aliagas seems to have made the rounds of its “baby” launched in 2007 on TF1 : “50′ Inside”. A program that he first co-hosted for a long time with Sandrine Quétier before the latter left TF1 to join France Televisions. After a few years as a solo performer on his weekly Saturday show, he retired for good.

From now on, it is a well-known personality of the televiewers of Canal + and rugby fans, as well as fans of “The New Star” who will succeed him. Indeed, before taking control of the Channel Rugby Club or as an officer on the edge of the Top 14 pitches, Isabelle Ithurburu tried her luck in the musical program ofM6 in 2007. Finally, she was spotted as a host on Infosport before being assigned a more prominent role. The companion of Maxime Nucci therefore completely changes register and will animate the next season of “50′ Inside” in some months.

Nikos Aliagas will not give up his “throne” on television

However, if some hoped that Nikos Aliagas would officially hand over to him, this is not the case. Indeed, the 54-year-old host did not have “the weather” to do so, as he revealed to our colleagues atEuropean 1 this Monday, July 10. The man who left the program TF1 after 16 years at its head, first comes back to the reasons for his departure: “I consider it a very good show, but at the same time, I think it’s had its day for me.” “It’s good to be able to pass the baton. It’s rare in a career to be able to do that, because it’s so fleeting and uncertain”he continues, feeling no regrets about his decision.

However, he may have regrets on another subject. “We are not going to formalize it because we could not because of planning problems. She was still at Canal +”, he confided about the handover with Isabelle Ithurburu, which could not be done. However, the now ex-host of “50′ Inside” sure it’s not final. He does not close the door to an express return to his show to wish good luck to his replacement.

“We’ll do it later maybe, I’ll come or we’ll have the opportunity to meet! It’s family now and then all my colleagues there [à 50′ Inside] remain friends”promised Nikos Aliagas, happy to have won a second family after 16 years of work.
