Millions of flowers were laid in the park next to Buckingham Palace, London, where a memorial was installed, Wednesday September 14. The bouquets spread out there as far as the eye can see.
In the park opposite Buckingham Palace, in London (United Kingdom), tens of thousands of bouquets, accompanied by words, were placed during a meditation on Wednesday, September 14. “I’m moved to tears. Every message I read, I didn’t expect this… It’s so sad”confides a Briton.
Testimonies of respect and affection come from all over the world. A Frenchwoman, settled here for 11 years, insisted on coming with her daughters. “It’s very moving. There are times when we have tears in our eyes”, she comments. The flowers will remain in the park for several weeks. Volunteers take turns to remove the plastic around the bouquets, so that they can be recycled.
