Peng Shuai, a tennis star in China, seems to have vanished. Former world number one in doubles tennis, she has not given any sign of life for more than 15 days. The UN, the French authorities and the tennis world are worried, especially on social networks. Player Naomi Osaka uses the hashtag #WhereisPengShuai (where Peng Shuai is), which has gone viral on social media.

For its part, the American Serena Williams says to himself “devastated and shocked”. Peng Shuai has not been seen since the letter was posted on a Chinese social network.
