Roger Federer has decided to conclude his adventure on the pitch. After having won everything, won 20 Grand Slam titles, the Swiss, injured for several months after several knee operations, announced that he was going to end his career, in a press release Thursday, September 15.
“The Laver Cup, next week in London, will be my last ATP tournament. I will still play tennis in the future, of course, but no longer in Grand Slams or on the circuit”he wrote in his statement posted on his Twitter account. “I worked hard to get back in shape. But I also know the capabilities and the limits of my body. The last 24 years on the circuit have been an incredible adventure.”
