Ten people killed in Israeli raids on northern occupied West Bank, Red Crescent announces

Two Palestinians were killed on Wednesday in the city of Jenin, four others in the bombing of a car in a nearby village and four more in a refugee camp near the city of Toubas, the Red Crescent spokesman said.

The spokesperson for the Palestinian Red Crescent announced to AFP on Wednesday, August 28, that ten Palestinians had been killed during the night during Israeli raids on several towns in the north of the occupied West Bank.

Two Palestinians were killed in the city of Jenin, four others in a car bombing in a nearby village and four more in a refugee camp near the city of Toubas, said Ahmed Jibril, spokesman for the Red Crescent. The Israeli army said it was carrying out “A counter-terrorism operation in Jenin and Tulkarem”in the northern West Bank. “Security forces launched an operation to combat terrorism in Jenin and Tulkarem,” the Israeli army said in a statement earlier.
