The Jardins Sauvages duo, coureur des bois François Brouillard and chef Nancy Hinton, offer forest products made from wild plants from Quebec. Picked sustainably, fresh and pickled mushrooms, sweet clover syrup, dune pepper and wild berry jam are just a few examples of their products. They are sold at their stand at the Jean-Talon market and in their online store.

4. The ancestral seeds of the Urban Nutritionist
Nutritionist Bernard Lavallée, alias Le Nutritionniste Urbaine, presents his new collection of ancestral seeds, all grown in Quebec. The Ancestral Varieties of Quebec seed kit, for example, includes common chives, Groleau watercress, Côté de Beaune lettuce, Oka melon, Saint-Hubert peas, rhubarb, and Montreal Tasty tomatoes. and Little sparrow. 3. A spice pencil
The family business Food Crayon designed the spice pencils. It is in fact a concentrate of flavors that we cut into shavings using a sharpener to enhance meals, desserts and cocktails. Made in Quebec, spice pencils are available in different flavors: fig and balsamic, black garlic, tangerine and cinnamon, mustard and honey, etc. They can be purchased individually, in pairs, in trios or in a discovery box to create yourself, according to your preferences. 5. Alcohols from the Ecological Orchards Philion
Quebec alcoholic beverages are popular. Whether it’s microbrewery beers, wines, spirits or ciders, they stand out here and elsewhere. This is the case with Gaia ice perry and Octave pear wine, from the Vergers écologiques Philion, located in Hemmingford. These two products respectively won silver and gold medals at the international Vinalies competitions. The products are sold at the SAQ, at the Marché des saveurs du Québec store in the Jean-Talon market and at the orchard store.
6. The Solid’air box
The Quebec Lung Association has designed Solid’air gift boxes on different themes. The box called l’Envolée québécoise is intended for gourmets and includes a bottle of bubbles, elderberry jelly and duck pâté. Available in a vegetarian version or not, the boxes are used in particular to finance support programs for the three million Quebecers suffering from respiratory diseases, such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD), and to support research in respiratory health.
7. The gourmet box La Tablée des chefs
Another great gift option to support a good cause: the solidarity box of La Tablée des chefs.
