More than 20 million euros in turnover in 2022. Le Slip français is a business that works. However, it all started with a bet between friends, 12 years ago. “I wanted to start my own business and they challenged me to do it with underwear,” says the founder and president of the brand Guillaume Gibault.

500,000 pieces manufactured per year, entirely “made in France”

Apart from the thread – cotton is not manufactured in France – everything is French in the manufacture of the products, assures Guillaume Gibault. This means that Slip Français briefs and boxers are more expensive than other brands. Around 40 euros each. “The right price” defends the founding president, for a product with “a reduced environmental impact and a real social impact, like the world we all want to build.”

“A vision of openness and modernity”

The brand is turning to sport, with an advertising campaign for the Rugby World Cup in France. And the company is already looking towards 2024, with a license signed for the Paris Olympic Games.
