(Montreal) The film by Lyne Charlebois, Tell me why these things are so beautifulwas selected in competition at the Angoulême Francophone Film Festival.


The feature film, which stars Alexandre Goyette and Mylène Mackay, tells the platonic story between brother Marie-Victorin and his student Marcelle Gauvreau.

Charlebois’ work has already won the Grand Prix Hydro-Québec at the Abitibi-Témiscamingue International Film Festival.

The Angoulême Francophone Film Festival will take place in southwest France from August 27 to 1er September and British actress Kristin Scott Thomas will be president of the jury.
