Several changes are on the program for this new season, which COVID-19 forced to postpone last year. If Élyse Marquis is still at the animation, Colombe St-Pierre takes the place of Daniel Vézina as the brigade’s mentor. Judges Normand Laprise, Jean-Luc Boulay and Pasquale Vari are still in the game, but pastry chef Isabelle Deschamps-Plante, known to have participated in the show’s fourth season, in 2013, and The paybackthe following year, was added to the trio.

ICI Télé also posted a video clip showing behind the scenes of the final auditions, which took place at the ITHQ.
