Télétoon unveils the voice cast of Red Ketchup

Benoît Brière, France Castel, Gabriel Lessard, Alain Zouvi, Widemir Normil, Émilie Bibeau and Martin Villeneuve will lend their voices to the characters of the animated series red ketchupwhich will be broadcast from April on Télétoon la nuit.


It is Benoît Brière who will provide the voice of Red Ketchup, the FBI agent with orange hair who embarks on perilous preposterous international missions in the mid-1980s.

“Finding the perfect voice for Red Ketchup was quite a challenge,” director Martin Villeneuve said in a statement. “Benoît Brière is a versatile actor whose voice lends the toxicity and gravity specific to this tortured antihero, in addition to all the nuances of acting and the humorous levels that the character commands. The other members of the cast also seduced me by each succeeding in infusing their character with all the subtleties sought. »

Red Ketchup’s sister Sally will be played by France Castel, while Widemir Normil will voice the head of the FBI.

Produced by Jacques Bilodeau of Sphère Animation and directed by Martin Villeneuve, red ketchup is based on the successful comic book by Pierre Fournier and Réal Godbout. The season will have 20 episodes, with the first 10 airing this spring.
