The novelty : The possible emission

In this new offering from Productions J (Double occupation, Survivor Quebec), Léane Labrèche-Dor, Fred Bastien and Meeker Guerrier tackle social issues by carrying out fun “missions”. Highlight this week: Meeker spends a day at work “menstruating,” using a device that mimics menstrual cramps. Spoiler alert: the facilitator removes the machine after wearing it for eight hours… at level 4 (on a scale of 8). For their part, Léane tries to overcome her phobia of ghosts with hypnosis, and Fred creates videos that tickle the brain, called oddly satisfying videos on the Internet. Directed by Miriam Laquerre-Tantawy (Love is in the meadow).

The 75are Primetime Emmy Awards

The television gala season has just begun and there are already fears of the risk of acute sickness. Postponed for a few months due to strikes in Hollywood, the Emmy ceremony falls eight days after that of the Golden Globes and 24 hours after that of the Critics’ Choice Awards. Although we would have liked to take a break from the trophy presentation, we will be there to witness the announced triumph of Successionwho should win everything, ahead The White Lotus And The Last of Us. As for comedies, Ted Lasso may well lead the way with 21 quotes, The Bear will emerge victorious. But our heart remains with Jury Duty.
