Did you think we had gone all the way with the concepts of renovation and decoration shows? Mistake. In this new “documentary” series, aptly titled How to Build a Sex Room in the original English version, couples seeking to spice up their relationship in intimacy use the services of luxury interior designer Melanie Rose to create “elegant spaces” to realize their fantasies. Due to an embargo, we are unable (at this time) to voice our opinion on the show. But after looking at the footage that Netflix recently distributed to the media, it’s safe to say that several transformations include harnesses. Unsurprisingly, we are far from decorate your life.

Yes, these are reruns that we must have seen dozens of times. Yes, some scenes raise eyebrows in 2022 (Dodo disguised as a great indigenous chief, for example). Yes, the pace is rather slow at times. But still. More than 55 years after it hit the airwaves, the sitcom directed by Jean Bissonnette remains excellent entertainment, and reminds us how much Dominique Michel and Denise Filiatrault formed an incredible duo. A chemistry on the screen which, even today, has no equal. This week, Dominique meets Charles Aznavour at his dentist, and Gustave (Réal Béland) trains for his first boxing match.

Christian Bégin regains control of the talk show of Télé-Québec for a sixth season. The formula remains unchanged: you have to find the mystery link that connects your guests. This week, we welcome comedian Matthieu Pepper, religiologist Anne Marie Tapp, host Isabelle Maréchal and actor Marc-André Grondin. Marie-Ève Janvier will provide the musical portion of the show, surrounded – of course – by the gospel choir. Among the personalities expected over the next few weeks, we note Michèle Richard, François Létourneau and Zachary Richard. In song, we announce Corneille, Breen LeBœuf and Daniel Boucher.

The lovers of Pranks from Just for Laughs will perhaps find their account in this hidden camera show where Rosalie Vaillancourt, Rémi-Pierre Paquin, Didier Lucien, Rosalie Bonenfant and Mehdi Bousaidan multiply the antics in Montreal, Tokyo, Mexico and Paris. All to create reactions among people who have no idea that they are being filmed. Mehdi Bousaidan devours a hamburger in a few seconds on a terrace under the amused gaze of the other customers, Rosalie Vaillancourt takes out her Burgundy fondue kit on the plane, Rosalie Bonenfant runs around like a retard in public… Do you understand the concept? This week, Mexicans are perplexed by the use of a siphon by Rémi-Pierre Paquin.
