That ’70s Show was never a great comedy, and yet, it was with enthusiasm that we watched its eight seasons on FOX, between 1998 and 2006. When the texts were average, its undeniably charismatic cast kept us captive. This is probably why this sequel leaves us indifferent, because by revolving around the character of Leia Forman, the daughter of Eric and Donna visiting her grandparents, it puts forward new actors. In our opinion, the best moments come when the original actors (Topher Grace, Laura Prepon, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Wilmer Valderrama) show the tip of their noses, the time of brief special appearances.

Tennis takes over the screens in January. And it’s perfect like that. After devouring break point on Netflix, we follow closely Turn between games at the Australian Open. Skilfully directed by Rafaël Ouellet, this series presents frankly convincing tennis sequences, which have nothing (or almost) to envy to Hollywood films that have tackled the subject. Éric Bruneau has obviously done his homework. The actor masters the technique well enough to portray with credibility a tennis pro who is attempting a final breakthrough. This week, his Charles continues his winding road by participating in the United States Open tennis awaiting the results of a doping test that could change everything. And watch out for the twist at the very end of the episode…

With this new order of episodes, we happily find Sarah the nurse-sexologist (Magalie Lépine-Blondeau), her work colleagues (brilliantly defended by Isabelle Vincent, Mikhaïl Ahooja, Fabiola Nyrva Aladin, Rachid Badouri, Stéphane Crête) , his patients (Dorothée Berryman, Louis-Olivier Mauffette…) and above all, his gigantic glasses.
