Leaving for a last slide at the Super Aqua Club, a teenager lost her life after being found unconscious in the water, in Pointe-Calumet, on Friday.
It was in the late afternoon that the teenager, aged around 14, told her friends that she wanted to take one last slide before leaving the site. She would therefore have headed towards the one that falls directly into Lac Deux-Montagnes.

After waiting for her for some time and not seeing her come to the surface, her two friends, a little older than her, became concerned.
It was finally the rescuers who saw the young woman in the water, visibly unconscious.
“The rescuers quickly carried out resuscitation maneuvers,” said the inspector at the Criminal Investigations Division of the Deux-Montagnes police, Jean-Philippe Labbé.
His death was confirmed by the authorities in the evening.
For the moment, the thesis of drowning is considered by the police.
“Investigators are on site to shed light on the circumstances of the incident,” added the inspector.
