The boss is back. Teddy Riner won the Budapest Grand Slam on Sunday July 10, where he made his return to individual competition, a year after his bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics. Coming to Hungary to gauge himself on the road to Paris 2024 where he will aim for a third individual Olympic title, the 33-year-old Frenchman beat the Dutchman Jelle Snippe in the final after a quick fight won in 40 seconds.

In four fights, Riner won three times before the end of the count, on ippon. At ease on the tatami, mobile and sharp, Teddy Riner regained all his splendor against his rivals in the category of more than 100 kilos.
