This is the French star of the CES show in Las Vegas (United States): Mirokia 1.23 meter robot, designed to support hospital nursing staff by moving trolleys and trays. “Today, we are closing parts of hospitals because we do not have enough staff to carry out this type of operation”, indicates a member of the company that created it. This year again, France is good represented at the American technology fair. More than 150 French start-ups are present.

Opening the doors to the American market

French start-ups offer innovations for everyday life, such as a wifi sensor that detects the fall of an elderly person and warns the family, or a toothbrush said to be more effective in just 20 seconds thanks to its sonic vibrations. The CES is a showcase for French know-how in the United States. It’s also a way of opening the doors to the monumental American market.
