god of war

This is one of the rare occasions when Sony lets an exclusive get out of its fold. We were thus able to rediscover this masterpiece with unparalleled quality, thanks to an NVIDIA RTX 2070 card which gives access to 60 fps and a resolution of 1440p. The most dramatic improvement, in our case, was being able to stream the game to an ultrawide screen in 21:9 aspect ratio. With an NVIDIA RTX 3080 card, you can even push the machine up to 4K/60 fps. Intoxicating.

Music

Music and the pandemic definitely go hand in hand. Live music streaming services now have nearly half a billion subscribers, 524 million to be more precise, according to MIDiA’s most recent report for the second quarter of 2021. That’s an increase of 26 .4%, or 110 million subscribers, compared to the same period last year. Veteran Spotify continues to lead the way with 31%, but “the erosion of its market share is steady and persistent,” the report noted. Spotify still has nearly double the subscribers of second-placed streaming service Apple Music at 15%. But Amazon Music and Tencent Music, both at 13%, blow on his neck.

Fake reviews

Fakespot’s algorithm will recalculate a product’s overall rating after weeding out misleading reviews, like The Press tested it with these Haylou headphones offered on Amazon.

The controversy around AmpMe, accused of having bought thousands of favorable reviews, reminds us that this phenomenon is exploding on the web. Some companies will buy fake good grades and put undue pressure on customers, offering a refund in exchange for a perfect grade, for example. There are, however, many tools whose task it is to identify these unreliable critics. One of the best known is Fakespot, whose algorithm will recalculate a product’s overall rating after weeding out obviously bought reviews. ReviewMeta also allows settings to give more weight to certain criteria. A warning: none of these tools is infallible and their conclusions are not always the same.
