From next June, Sony’s PlayStation Plus subscription service will swallow Now and come in three versions: Essential, Extra and Premium.
The confusion between PlayStation Plus and Now will no longer exist from June, when the two Sony services will merge. There will only be PlayStation Plus, which will be available in three versions: Essential, Extra and Premium. The first, the least expensive at US$9.99 per month or US$59.99 per year, will notably offer access to online multiplayer and two downloadable games per month. Canadian pricing has yet to be announced. The “total” is Premium at US$119.99 per year, which will offer, among other things, 340 additional games from old PlayStation consoles.
