Technical problems at Desjardins | Services affected by an outage are back to normal

After a few hours of technical problems, Desjardins services, including the AccèsD site as well as card and ATM transactions, are functional again on Saturday evening.

Early in the evening, Desjardins confirmed to The Canadian Press that all of its services had been back to normal since 5:10 p.m.

About an hour earlier, the AccèsD site was unavailable, while card and ATM transactions “(worked) intermittently”.

According to Jean-Benoît Turcotti, senior public relations advisor at Desjardins, the problems began in the middle of the afternoon on Saturday. Mr. Turcotti, however, did not wish to specify what were the causes of the technical problems.

“For the moment, the priority of the teams is really to restore the services, he was content to say. Our teams are working to restore everything as soon as possible. »

Desjardins had also experienced technical problems at the beginning of November. On November 3, payments at the terminals had been interrupted for a few hours.
