(Quebec) The looming strike in several Quebec schools should not be considered by students as a “break” or a “vacation,” warns the Minister of Education, Bernard Drainville.
At a press scrum on Thursday in Quebec, Mr. Drainville invited schools to provide children with what they need so that they can continue their learning “a little bit”.
“I hope that school principals, school service centers, teachers will actually give materials to the children,” he declared.
“It must not become a holiday, a week off. Ideally, we shouldn’t,” he added.
