Monday evening, while the Prime Minister presented on France 2 a relaxation of the health protocol in schools, the Ministry of National Education was absent subscribers. It was not until 11 am, this Tuesday morning, to hear Jean-Michel Blanquer, interviewed on a television channel, at a time when the teachers are not in front of their posts.

But there is still, Tuesday noon, no official information or circular sent to school directors and principals: for the moment they must be based on the information and details that the media have been able to glean here or the…
And the website of the ministry is still not up to date: the documents which are authentic, in principle, date from last Thursday. It is also stated that a first PCR or antigen test is compulsory for students with contact cases.

Moreover, we had to wait until the end of the morning on Tuesday to find out when this relaxation was applied: the self-test sufficient to return to class, with certification on the honor of the parents, it is from Friday, January 14. On the other hand, it is from this Tuesday that you are no longer obliged to come and pick up your child urgently if a case is positive in his class. You can wait for the evening release: this change is therefore already in effect.

If the wish of the government with these announcements was to defuse the strike scheduled for Thursday, January 13, it has failed: on the contrary, they have heated up the unions a little more to white, calling for this mobilization, which promises to be very followed. In Paris, for example, the Snuipp announces that at least one in three schools will be completely closed and three teachers in four strikers. For labor organizations, lightening the protocol while the virus is circulating very intensely amounts to endangering children and adults alike.

On the parents’ side, this reduction is also far from unanimous. Most are really exasperated by these changes every two days: the FCPE denounces “scoops” who do not go “not in the best interests of the child”. It’s rare, but she supports Thursday’s strike and calls for a white day, by not sending students to class.
