Students and teachers left around 10:30 a.m. the establishment in the town of Arras, where Dominique Bernard was stabbed to death.

A national tribute was paid to him during the day, in particular with a minute of silence in his memory and that of another professor, Samuel Paty, assassinated by a jihadist in 2020.
