Popular American singer Taylor Swift announced on Thursday that her megatour Erasthe most lucrative concert series ever presented, will end next December.
“This is the very first time I’ve admitted to myself that this tour is going to end in December,” the singer said in a speech to her Liverpool audience, just before singing the 10-minute version of her hit All Too Well. So many new dates have been announced since the tour launched that fans of the artist did not yet officially know if more shows were planned for 2025. The Liverpool show being the 100e of the tour, Swift took the opportunity to make this important announcement.
The tour Eras, which consists of more than 150 shows across the globe, is coming to an end. Taylor Swift has broken numerous crowd records in several arenas around the world. The roughly three-hour show features a setlist of nearly 50 songs, including an acoustic segment that changes from city to city.
You have done so much to be with us. You have planned your presence well in advance. You planned what you were going to wear. You memorized the lyrics. You have arrived here. You understand parking. I want to pass this 100e show to think about all this, to live this moment and be here with you. Just know that I appreciate every ounce of effort you put into being with us as this tour hits triple digits in show numbers today.

The tour Eras covers Taylor Swift’s repertoire, spanning 18 years of career. Since the release of the album The Tortured Poets Department, on April 19, a whole new section of the concert is dedicated to the songs from this masterpiece, very well received by critics and fans. Determined to be the most lucrative of all tours in the history of music, Eras will generate at least $1 billion by its closing, according to the specialist magazine Pollstar.
While Swift is a third of the way through the European portion of the tour, she will then head back to North America for shows in the United States, then Canada, including six shows in Toronto in November. The Eras tour will normally conclude on December 8 in Vancouver.
