“You have French people who may be entitled to aid but who do not ask for it“, he says. “If the state knows how much you earn to collect taxes, it must know how to pay you what you are entitled to”assures the Prime Minister. “Today the problem is that you have people who are entitled to things who don’t get them because they don’t know. And you have people who aren’t entitled to certain things but who still manage to receive it”believes Gabriel Attal. “We have to put everything straight”he recommends.
Towards a “golden rule against tax increases”
Gabriel Attal promises that he “There will be no tax increase if the French give a majority to the Ensemble pour la République candidates” in the legislative elections on June 30 and July 7. “We will even try to continue to lower them”he specifies.

The Prime Minister undertakes to put in place “a golden rule against tax increases” which he wishes to include in the finance law. He also promises “a new law to combat tax and social fraud” from this summer, “if the Together for the Republic candidates are elected”. He promises “more means of investigation” for services that fight against fraud, such as “the possibility of cross-referencing files”.
