Thales confirms on Tuesday that it has opened an internal investigation in connection with a cyberattack. The Russian-speaking group LockBit 3.0, which recently disrupted the operation of Corbeil-Essonnes hospital

“As of this date, we have not identified any ransom demand,” he added. “However, we carefully follow up on every allegation related to data theft. A dedicated team of security experts systematically investigates this type of situation, data security being our priority”, he assured.

“As far as customers are concerned, you can approach the competent bodies to consider taking legal action against this company which has largely neglected the rules of confidentiality. The Russian-speaking group LockBit 3.0 has already attacked the South Francilien Hospital Center (CHSF) in Corbeil-Essonnes last August, disrupting its operation. The hackers, who had demanded a $10 million ransom, finally disclosed in September on the darknet
personal reports colonoscopy, childbirth, gynecological examinations mentioning the surnames, first names and dates of birth of the patients.
