Tanguy de La Forest wins gold in prone rifle shooting

The day after his silver medal in the 10m standing rifle shooting, the Rennes player was the best in the prone shooting.

A final led from start to finish. In the mixed 10m air rifle prone competition (SH2 category), Tanguy de La Forest won his first Paralympic gold medal at his sixth Games. With a score of 255.4, the five-time world champion beat Brazilian Alexandre Augusto Galgani (254.2 points), who was very close to the Frenchman throughout the final. Japan’s Mika Mizuta completes the podium.
