From Thursday to Sunday, the U13 AAA Elite Tournament is in full swing at the Claude-Mongrain Arena in Trois-Rivières. For the occasion, the Estacades de la Mauricie struck a blow as Montreal Canadiens goaltender Samuel Montembeault accepted the honorary presidency of the event.
It was late Friday afternoon that the native of Sainte-Gertrude (Bécancour) went to the arena where he played so often during his youth. For him, taking on the honorary presidency of this tournament was natural.
