Sunday November 7 2021, the eighth Transat Jacques Vabre will leave from Le Havre. At the same time as the sailors, thousands of participants will take the start of the Transat virtually on Virtual Regatta.
Virtual Regatta is a multiplayer online game that recreates the racing conditions of sailboats. After registration, free, you can equip your boat, choose the color of the sail … and you sail like a real sailor.
The strength of the game is to be as close as possible to real circumstances of the race which is run at sea, while remaining very dry.

France Bleu Normandie (Calvados-Orne), France Bleu Normandie (Seine-Maritime- Eure) and France Bleu Cotentin have joined forces to allow you to compete within the Team France Blue. Ten participants by radio will be selected using the form below.

The ten winners will win a upgrade pack as well as sails in France Bleu colors. They will thus be part of the Team France Blue. And to give you every chance of getting there, a coach will be there to guide you and give you advice. Olivier Scius, operations manager for specialized large-scale distribution, is passionate about sailing. He sails regularly from his home port in Granville. Olivier is also one of the first players on Virtual Regatta, as a player but also as a coach.
