La Zarra is still acting up. Before slipping away from the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, the representative of France gave the camera the middle finger. A gesture that earned her many criticisms and for which she apologized on social networks. “I also wanted to let you know that the gesture I made in the Green Room and that everyone is taking up on social media is absolutely not contempt or an insult. In no way a middle finger. It’s is a gesture from me of disappointment which means ‘whatever’ that could not be translated ‘thus be it’. Neither more nor less. No desire to shock or provoke, I apologize if this has been misinterpreted”she explained on her Instagram account after the event.
But while the scandal is still just as hot, the singer has taken over her networks in order to severely tackle an emblematic teacher of the star Academy. “To learn to sing, I listen to Marlène Schaff. It’s revolutionary. Go steamer, you have to support the artists”, she wrote in story this Monday, May 15, 2023 while sharing the liter Rock & Roll All Nite from the famous vocal coach.

Marlène Schaff cash on the performance of La Zarra
As a reminder, Marlène Schaff had not minced her words regarding the performance of La Zarra during the Eurovision final. “The song is not uninteresting but the tone is clearly too serious, the voice lacks dynamics, we do not understand what it says and we lose the color of its timbre”she dropped on Instagram.
And to conclude: “Finally the show note on “did I manage to sing Great France”, is a stampede, we are on a B flat and we are not really in it anymore. Too bad this singer with her vocal abilities could have slammed us a D flat (at least) and make a spectacular note at the height of the podium on which it stands.” Remarks that the star obviously did not appreciate.
