SZA and Noah Kahan announced at Osheaga

After Green Day, the Osheaga festival announced this morning the two other headliners for its 17th edition. SZA and Noah Kahan, recently nominated for a Grammy, will perform at Parc Jean-Drapeau.

Noah Kahan is from Strafford, Vermont. He had great success with his song Hurt Somebody. On Spotify, the musician has more than 22 million monthly listeners. In the past, he has collaborated with Kacey Musgraves, Zach Bryan and Post Malone. The artist will be the musical guest of Saturday Night Live on December 2. He will play at Osheaga on August 2.

For her part, SZA is the artist who received the most Grammy nominations this year with nine. One of the superstars on the planet today, she was born in St. Louis, Missouri. Real name Solána Rowe, she grew up in New Jersey. The first female artist to sign on Kendrick Lamar’s label (Top Dawg Entertainment), she already participated in Osheaga in 2015. She will close Osheaga on Sunday, August 4.

On Saturday evening, the Osheaga festival will host the masters of punk-rock: Green Day. This will be the first concert in Montreal for Billie Joe Armstrong’s band since 2017. The group then sold out the Bell Center. Last Sunday, the musicians played at halftime during the Gray Cup final, won by the Montreal Alouettes.

The full Osheaga program will be revealed in early 2024.
