Since the departure of the “boss” towards eternity, we have not been idle among the minions of Team Hallyday. Quickly, we extracted the formidable voice from recordings of shows, brought together a giant choir and the Odyssey Symphony Orchestra (under the direction of Yvan Cassar), and then vroom, hell, the post-mortem tour began. toured France as a grateful johnnyphile. Since Johnny had never given in to smallness, this seemed completely natural. However, one essential fact was not taken into account: the incredible, the immense, was Johnny, his voice, his presence. Magnifying the orchestrations around this disembodied voice allows us to understand it like never before: Johnny was enough for Johnny. That this perfectly useless show becomes a double album of 31 tracks and that this album arrives in Quebec just in time for the Holidays, this justifies a warning from a friend (and a finished fan): move on, there are excellent compilations profusely.
