Sylvie Vartan: Her sublime daughter Darina shares intimate photos for a special occasion

Between Sylvie Vartan and her daughter Darina, the connection is undeniable. Evidenced by the latter’s Instagram story on Monday, August 15, since she shared a photo of her younger mother, on the occasion of her 78th birthday, sending her an adorable message: “Happy birthday to the most beautiful, kindest, and most loving mom. I love you with all my heart” she wrote. But it does not stop there: “Thank you for everything you do for me and for those around you. Thank you for being an exceptional mom. Thank you for choosing me. I love you” she added, revealing another snapshot of her mom.

As a reminder, Darina was adopted by American singer and producer Tony Scotti in Bulgaria in 1998, when she was 7 months old. Since that day, she seems to have forged very strong ties with her mother, who even wrote her a nice song bearing her name in her album. Sensitive. Adopted or not, it doesn’t change anything for Darina. “As a kid, I never felt a difference. Especially since I look like my nieces physically” she recently confided to Gala, when she shared the cover of the magazine with her mother.

“We do not classify a child”

“I think when you’re adopted, there are still issues that come with it. It’s part of the package.“she nuanced in the process. But despite these difficulties, and some criticism, Darina does not in any way question the status of mother of the one who adopted her. Quite the contrary. Sylvie Vartan also spoke on this topic during this interview to clarify the situation.”A mother is the one who loves you, who trembles for you, who cries for you. David (fruit of his love with Johnny Hallyday, editor’s note), I carried him in my belly and Darina, I carried her in my heart, heart or belly, for me, there is no difference” said the interpreter of the maritza, who never hesitates to defend his daughter when the occasion arises.

“I wanted my son and I wanted her. It’s the same process. And I can’t stand people saying ‘my adopted daughter’. Darina is my daughter. That’s all. Adopted , biological or born under PMA, we do not classify a child! There is no ‘sub-child’, no graduation in the love we have for him...” she had concluded with great firmness. Which has the merit of being clear!
