A more than tempting proposition… Remember, at the end of 2022, TF1 hit hard with the eventful return of the star Academy
on the small screen after 15 years of absence. A revival of the telecrochet which had enchanted the nostalgicbut above all which had marked the beginning of rumors of all kinds concerning the location of the filming, the teaching staff or even the identity of the new director…
And among the names mentioned to take over from Armande Altaï, Alexia Laroche-Joubert, Gérard Louvain and Charlotte Valandray, the name of Sylvie Tellier had started to circulate… A rumor finally denied by the main interested party at the time.
“I was extremely touched that I was thought of for this type of program because I was elected Miss France in 2001, it was the first year of Star Ac’ and it was Jenifer who won this show that I followed with great pleasureshe confided. Honestly, I’m not sure I’m expected to be the director of the Star Academy. I was extremely proud that people thought of me, but that is not part of my immediate plans. No way. But I am convinced that they will have a director who will be fabulous in this exercise.”

“We confused demands and severity”
A year later, when Michael Goldman was chosen for the second consecutive year to be the director of the star Academy, Sylvie Tellier returned to this rumor. Invited in Buzz Tv this Wednesday, December 13, 2023, the former beauty queen declared: “Last year, there were some rumors about the fact that I could have been offered the management of the castle, I was the first to watch Star Ac and I found it very good, it’s a show that makes good, especially in a currently very complicated political and economic context”.
An avid viewer. However, no regrets for the mother: “It’s complicated because you saw me in the role of director of the misses for 17 years, we often confused demands with severity and I would not have wanted to find myself in a role that was still severe,”she analyzed.
