To cope with the heat, the metropolis of Aix-Marseille opens access to its swimming pools. In all, fourteen swimming pools are free for more than three weeks, from this Friday, July 22, and until August 15:

To face the heat and drought, other measures are taken more specifically by the city of Aix-en-Provence. The mayor, Sophie Joissains announces the closure of non-potable fountains in the town, to limit water consumption. on the other hand, the aquatic play areas for children remain open.
