Swastikas and hateful tags against President Emmanuel Macron were discovered this Tuesday, November 28, on the facades of the town hall of Lunas (Hérault), who filed a complaint, as well as on his school, reports France Bleu Hérault .
In the middle of the day, the department prefecture shared its “indignation” after discovering these tags. In addition to the swastikas on the town hall, another inscription, on the school, insulted Emmanuel Macron of “Swatter”. The prefecture explains that “the gendarmes are mobilized to find the author of these inscriptions”.
The mayor of Lunas, Aurélien Manenc, immediately filed a complaint and the tags were erased in the morning. “These inscriptions have no place with us in Lunas or elsewhere in France”, he declared to France Bleu Hérault. “We do not accept these manifestations of hatred and racism which do not pass muster in our country.”
