Quebecer Suzanne Clément is part of the cast of remake in english from the movie Longing alongside American actor Richard Gere and German-American actress Diane Kruger, the online magazine exclusively announced Deadline.

Longing is an Israeli drama released in 2017. It tells the story of a bachelor in his 60s who learns that a former girlfriend gave birth to a boy 20 years ago. The man will try to get to know this son, now deceased, through those who knew him.
In this remake in English, which will be directed by the same director as the original version (Savi Gabizon), Richard Gere plays the main character, Diane Kruger the son’s favorite teacher, and Suzanne Clément, the mother of the deceased young man. Filming is taking place this fall in Ontario.
The original film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival as well as the 2017 Venice International Film Festival, where director Savi Gabizon received the BNL Audience Award.
