The boss of the Sutton Quebec real estate brokerage company, José Christophe Folla, was arrested for a series of arsons in the premises of his competitors in the Laurentians.
Fires affected several buildings in the region between 2017 and 2022, including the premises of Royal Lepage Humania in Sainte-Thérèse and the building housing those of ReMax Bonjour, in Saint-Sauveur.
Folla, 70, must appear Thursday at the Saint-Jérôme courthouse. Two of his alleged accomplices, Benjamin Amar and Alain-Marc Nahmias, are due to appear on Wednesday.
