Sustraia – Untzi

Sustraia made thousands of people, young and old, dance between 1992 and 2009: formed by singer Mixu and his musician friends, Jean-Marc Beheretche, Philippe Garat, Pantxoa Malmy and Beñat Zozaya, the group found the perfect formula to touch the public and make it dance.
Humor, self-mockery, good humor went hand in hand with elaborate music, carried by talented musicians.
The band has released 8 albums, two of which are live.

Untzi, true-false techno anthem

In his first album, Segi Segi, released in 1994, Sustraia aligns the hits, and among them, a song, “Untzi”, on techno rhythms, played by the members of the group, with guitar, bass, drums and company.
The title makes fun of the heady techno music that flooded the Basque Country at that time. Sustraia made it a bubbling, unleashed track that appealed to the public. On stage, Mixu, full balloons, with a megaphone and a ski mask, in a trance with his fans…
Unforgettable Sustraia!!!
