Montreal police are investigating a suspicious fire that severely damaged a vehicle in Hampstead in the Montreal area on Friday morning.
The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) was alerted shortly before 4 a.m. to a vehicle on fire parked in a private entrance on Place Harland, near the street of the same name.
When the police arrived on the scene, firefighters from the Montreal Fire Department (SIM) were already in the process of bringing the fire under control, which did not spread to the property.
