Barbara Gandolfi, already facing justice after a fraud case
One of the ex-husbands of Barbara Gandolfi, Frederick V, with whom she had two children, is said to be at the head of the network which recruited young Hungarian women to work in clubs and bars in Ostend. The recruited girls were allegedly paid with a slingshot and were subsequently forced to prostitute themselves in order to repay their debts.
But what is the supposed role of Barbara Gandolfi in that case ? According to our colleagues at Het Laatste Nieuws she would have posted advertisements in Dutch on prostitution sites to offer the service to these young girls. This Friday, March 22, 2024, through her lawyer Mr. Louis De Groote, the main interested party denied the facts with which she is accused and also formally denied having any knowledge of illegal activities.
Still according to our colleagues, if the ex-partner of the actor who died on September 6, 2021 kept in contact with her ex-husband, it would be for family reasons. THE Het Laatste Nieuws adds that the ex-couple was prosecuted for defrauding the actor Jean-Paul Belmondo but that he was acquitted in 2018 by the Ghent Court of Appeal.
