They are only 19 and 20 years old and this Friday, November 19, these two men and this woman were presented to the court of Nantes (Loire-Atlantique) for acts of aggravated pimping. This was in connection with an immediate appearance after their arrest at the beginning of the week in Saint-Herblain. As they are entitled to, they requested and obtained a deadline to prepare their defense. The trial was postponed until December 16 and by then they were remanded in custody.
Justice accuses them of having helped prostitution and of having recovered part of the agent from the passes. They were arrested at the beginning of the week for facts that start in August. It is a neighbor who alerts the police officers intrigued by numerous comings and goings in front of an apartment in the Bellevue district in St Herblain.
Almost three months of investigation
During their custody, the three young people, who all come from the Paris region, did not recognize the facts. And yet, according to the prosecutor, the work of the investigators is consequent “two and a half months of investigation, more than 300 minutes”. With hearings of the clients of the four prostitutes. The justice suspects them of having made available accommodation for the passes, of having transported the girls, also to ensure the standard to fix the appointments.
Justice also accuses the trio of having recovered some of the money from the passes. “Without the work of the investigators, these serious facts would have continued”, assures the prosecutor because the business pays. She has just been released from prison after a conviction for a pimping case. In the box, she is surrounded by two young men, friends, taller than herself. Since her release from prison at the end of July, she had been under an electronic bracelet. It was because she was prohibited from returning to the Paris region that she had found refuge with her mother in Loire-Atlantique. In a state of recidivism, she risks 20 years in prison. The two boys incur 10 years.
