A woman was found dead in a residential neighborhood in the Pointe-aux-Trembles area of Montreal on Friday morning.
A man was arrested in connection with this murder, the second to occur this year on the territory of the Montreal City Police Service (SPVM). The authorities have not yet confirmed the link between the arrested man and the victim.
The event took place in a home on rue Sherbrooke Est, at the intersection of avenue Yves-Thériault.
